1. SANAD
Full form of SANAD is Saudi Aramco Nabors Drilling Company. SANAD is a 50/50 joint venture partnership between Saudi Aramco and Nabors. SANAD is formed by Saudi government to foster economic changes in the country and to provides world-class industry hubs locally. It is fostering economic growth and job creation in the country.
Nabors and Saudi Aramco contributes of equal value consisting of cash and/or assets into the entity. There is also an agreement between Saudi Aramco and Nabors that SANAD will purchase and operate fifty (50) locally-sourced newly constructed rigs over a ten year period, at defined contracted economics.
2. Sinopec
China Petrochemical Corporation (Sinopec) is the second largest crude oil drilling company in Saudi Arabia. Sinopec also provides drilling equipment to other companies. They are highly active in onshore oil rigging. Sinopec operates one of the largest onshore rigs in the country.
3. Schlumberger
