Concrete block made by plain cement concrete (PCC). Concrete blocks are used for non-load bearing structures such as retaining walls. There are various types of concrete blocks are used in modern construction such as hollow blocks, lightweight concrete blocks, etc.

3. Brick 

Brick is the alternative solution to concrete blocks. It is made of clay or fly- ash. Brick is a very cheap construction material.

Rock is natural construction material. Material such as granite is obtained from natural rock.
