Modular Kitchens:
Modular kitchens are made of different types of modules. These modules come in customizable shapes and sizes. These modules are available in different color combinations.
These modules can be customized as per your requirement. You can choose desired cabinet layouts to meet your storage requirement.
Traditional kitchens are not highly customizable because they are made by carpenters. If conventional wooden kitchens are customized, they will cost very high and there will be too much-scraped material that can not be utilized further. The traditional kitchen does not provide the optimum finish.
Modular kitchens look very stylish. The main advantage of a modular kitchen is that you can 100% customize your kitchen area as per your requirement.
Cost of Modular Kitchen:
The cost of a modular kitchen depends on various factors such as kitchen area, material quality, design complexity, geographical location, etc. In the United State of America, a simple modular kitchen can cost around 4000-5000 dollars.
Material Used in Modular Kitchen:
The internal structure of the modular kitchen is made of Medium Density Fiberboard( MDF), or plywood. Sometimes High-Density Fiberboard (HDF) is used. The main advantage of HDF is that it does not absorb water.
The external structure is made of MDF or HDF and ply-laminated with veneer membrane or acrylic, or wood. External structures can come in different finishes so you get to pick and choose what works best for your home.
