All Assumptions Of Bernoulli’s Theorm

In this article we will discuss about assumptions of Bernoulli’s theorm.

Formula of Bernoulli’s theorm is given below.

p+12ρv2+ρgh=constant

Where p is the pressure applied by the fluid, v is the velocity of the fluid, ρ is the density of the fluid and h is the height of the object.

To apply Bernoulli’s equation some assumptions must be followed. Otherwise, this equation will not give proper result.

10 Assumptions Of Bernoulli’s Theorm

  1. The velocity is constant.
  2. The flow is consistent.
  3. The flow is steady.
  4. The flow is nonrotational.
  5. The fluid is incompressible.
  6. Flow is caused solely by gravity.
  7. There is no energy loss in the flow.
  8. The curve path’s centrifugal force is ignored.
  9. Frictional and viscous drag forces are also ignored.
  10. A continuous stream of liquid.
