Position Overview:
As the Aramco Approved WPR Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all work permits on-site in adherence to Aramco’s safety guidelines and regulations. You will play a critical role in ensuring that all work activities are carried out safely, minimizing risks to personnel, assets, and the environment. This position requires a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple work permits simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
Facilitate the issuance, renewal, and cancellation of work permits in accordance with Aramco standards and procedures.
Conduct thorough risk assessments for each work activity and communicate potential hazards to relevant personnel.
Collaborate closely with various departments and contractors to ensure seamless coordination of work permit processes.
Conduct periodic safety audits and inspections to verify compliance with Aramco’s safety requirements.
Train and educate employees and contractors on work permit procedures and safety protocols.
Investigate and report any safety incidents or near-misses related to work permits.
Keep abreast of changes in Aramco’s safety guidelines and update internal procedures accordingly.
Qualifications:
Aramco Approved Work Permit Receiver (WPR) certification is mandatory.
Previous experience as an Aramco Approved WPR Specialist or a similar role in the oil and gas industry.
In-depth knowledge of Aramco’s safety regulations and permit-to-work processes.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risks and implement effective control measures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
Proven ability to work under pressure and handle urgent situations with composure.
High regard for safety, ethics, and environmental compliance.
