Job Purpose:
As the Estimation Engineer – Precast, you will take charge of crafting and managing proposals, conducting quantity surveys, and formulating cost estimates for precast concrete projects. This pivotal role involves gathering, scrutinizing project data, devising precast design proposals, creating pricing models, and generating comprehensive estimates and quotations. It is essential for the Estimation Engineer – Precast to possess an adept comprehension of precast concrete construction methods and materials, coupled with experience in estimating software.
Key Accountability Areas:
- Develop and oversee quantity survey and cost estimates for precast concrete projects.
- Gather and analyze project data, encompassing drawings, specifications, and historical costs.
- Construct pricing models and generate meticulous estimates and quotations.
- Collaborate with fellow engineers, technical teams, and project managers to ensure precision and comprehensiveness of estimates.
- Remain updated on the latest advancements in precast concrete construction techniques and materials.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior estimators.
Academic Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
