Site Engineer Responsibilities:
As a Site Engineer at Orient Castle, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing construction projects in Jeddah. Your responsibilities will include:
- Organizing materials and ensuring sites are safe and clean, adhering to strict safety regulations to maintain a secure working environment.
- Preparing accurate cost estimates, closely monitoring project budgets, and ensuring the availability of appropriate materials and tools to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Providing expert technical advice and valuable suggestions for improvement on specific projects, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of construction processes.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment as needed, promptly addressing any issues to minimize downtime and maintain project timelines.
- Skillfully negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure the best contracts, optimizing cost-effectiveness and ensuring timely delivery of materials.
- Authorizing technical drawings and engineering plans, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
- Developing comprehensive work schedules and efficiently communicating any adjustments to crew members and clients, maintaining seamless coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
- Gathering data, compiling reports, and delivering engaging presentations to relevant stakeholders, keeping them informed about project progress and milestones.
- Delegating tasks effectively, empowering team members to contribute their skills and expertise, while also scheduling meetings and training sessions when required.
- Upholding high standards of quality assurance, conducting thorough inspections, and providing constructive feedback to the team to achieve outstanding results.
